He has had two knee surgeries. One when was about 4 months old. We call him our million dollar baby.
He goes on vacation with us every year to OBX (Outer Banks). He loves going for car rides.

1) Still hates the cold weather…will sit in the hottest spot possible, even under a wood stove at our camp, on the blacktop on 90+ degrees
2) The quietest dog ever…almost mute. When he does bark, usually for a delivery person or someone he doesn’t like (not always a stranger), I wonder where it’s coming from…he sounds much deeper than his body size
3) The most cat-like dog I have ever had…will sit in the windowsills, bask in the sun

Holland is a rescued coonhound and is OBSESSED with food.
When she goes to my parents house, she heads right to the snack cupboard and spins in circles until she gets a treat.
She wears a sweater most of the winter because she gets cold. And, she likes to sleep under the covers, or at least covered up with a blanket.
When she gets mad she bays like hounds do. We love her!

They both went to Sit Means Sit, which did a 180 on both of their behaviors. Chase as a 5 month old puppy, and Heath as a 6 year old rescue after 18 months at the SPCA.
Heath enjoys rolling in the mud face first.
Chase was scared of deer when he was a puppy.
Heath has no sense of his size and often knocks over everything and everyone in his way to come and greet you.
Chase hates oyster sauce.
Heath is allergic to meat and gluten.
They are the only boys with four human sisters.

Paisley is the Great Dane and Piper is the English Setter mix.
They became best friends the minute they met each other.
You will always find them sleeping right next to each other. Most of the time they are touching each other.
Paisley weighs in at 160 and thinks she is a tiny dog. She will sit on your lap or lay on you whenever she feels the need to! Which is a lot!!
